Mkhululi Malusi Skenjana

Born Mkhululi Malusi Skenjana, Khulu was raised in Soweto. Most popularly known for his portrayal of drug lord Tony Ngu in “Jerusalema”, Khulu’s latest film endeavours are playing “Manto”, head of the zama’s in Vikus Strydom’s yet to be released Zama Zama, Captain Sporo Ngoba in the Sony Pictures franchise Sniper Reloaded, a cameo performance alongside Morgan Freeman in the Oscar and Golden Globe nominated Clint Eastwood Film “Invictus”, another in “Skin” alongside Tony Kgoroge and Oscar nominated Sophie Okenedo and also in Craig Freidman “Jozi”.

On the small screen Khulu captured the South African audiences imagination with a gripping performance as (Kumkani Modise) in SABC 1’s acclaimed drama “Entabeni”, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. He plays the British expat David Tabane in SABC 2’s The Mating Game. Khulu has also been featured on productions like Noah’s Ark, Sokhulu & Partners, Rhythm City, Binnerlanders and on NBC’s The Philanthropist directed by Peter Horton.
